The program is open all year round! The Au Pair USA is a cultural exchange program that gives participants the opportunity to live an unforgettable year in America with the possibility of extending the Au Pair USA visa status for up to 2 years. By helping a family with childcare, you can experience the life and culture of the country, improve your English and travel around the United States. Also, during the Au Pair program, you can go to Germany, Holland, Austria, France, Belgium, Norway.
What are the responsibilities of an Au Pair?
- help the family for a maximum of 45 hours per week with childcare and light housework;
- wake up children, dress them, wash, play and feed;
- prepare simple meals, make children’s beds;
- put things in the dishwasher, iron children’s things;
- take / pick up children from school, kindergarten or various circles;
- go shopping, vacuuming, dusting;
- teach children and play with them, dress and change children;
- keep clean in your room, in the children’s room and in the living room.
